Gabby: Senior Photo

A few weeks ago I drove out to Longmont to an awesome property that I've shot at before to do Gabby's senior photos. She's a downright awesome, super talented, student at Broomfield High. She also happens to be one of my awesome high school youth group students, who also plays in our worship band. Gabby is just about one of the most caring people you'll ever meet, creative in the arts (an excellent drawer) and is a rockstar on the bass and violin.

One of my favorite things about Gabby is that she is simply who she is, never pretending to be someone she's not. The day after we shot these photos, she dyed her hair completely blonde (and it looks awesome)! That's just who she is, a free spirited, beautiful young woman, and I am so glad I got to take her senior photos. 

I'm so in love with this last shot. Gorgeous girl! 

Gabby I had so much fun taking these photos. You were awesome to photograph and a true natural in front of the camera. I hope you get to look back on these photos one day and remember how fun it was being this age and I hope you realize how awesome you are. I love ya!

Randi and Tyler, Wedding

A few weeks ago I got to go back to Illinois for Randi and Tyler's wedding. Randi and I have known each other since high school when we were both in the same youth group at church growing up. I got to meet Tyler here and there in my high school and college years, but it wasn't until they were both out of college that Randi and Tyler started dating and it seemed so natural, like they'd been dating all along. It was an absolute honor when Randi called me early this year and asked if I'd be their photographer... and so much fun to be a part of.

The Westin in Itasca was beautiful! 

It's always so much fun to do a friend's wedding especially when they're a part of this core group, because everyone has stayed such great friends throughout the years. It seems each year we're adding spouses to the group... we try to always do a group photo at everyone's wedding and it was great to add this one to the collection. So much fun. 

Randi and Tyler, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding. It was such a beautiful day... Congratulations to you both! May this day be only a symbol of the great joy to come for you both! 

 

Natalie and Travis: Wedding

Last week, I traveled up to Estes Park for Natalie and Travis' wedding. Ever since shooting their engagement session in Denver last November, I've been eagerly awaiting this unique and awesome couple. To say that Natalie and Travis are opposites is an understatement. One is Republican, the other Democat. One is a vegetarian, the other one is a full on carnivore! I could go on and on and on. But it's true what they say, opposites do attract! And these two couldn't be more made for each other. They are so sweet and I was so thrilled to have gotten to document their day.

We had planned to take more photos of them after the ceremony but at that point it had started to rain so it was so great that we had done a ton of photos before!

Natalie and Travis had the official signing of the Ketubah, which is a tradition of signing the wedding license before the ceremony in Jewish culture.

Natalie and Travis, thank you thank you thank you for making me feel so welcome to your wedding. I am so blessed to have clients like you guys! You guys were so much fun to work with! Hope you had a blast on your honeymoon and are enjoying the start of your new lives together! 

Sydney: Senior Pictures

Last week I met up with another one of the girls from my youth group, Sydney a senior at Erie, to take her senior photos. Sydney is an amazing girl, so passionate for serving others, she's currently one of middle school leaders and is a rock star at it. She's just simply a great girl and I'm thrilled to have gotten to take her senior pictures. 

She was a natural in front of the camera!
