Last month I got to travel back home to Chicago for Amy and Matt's Wedding! Amy and I were friends in high school and I was so thankful that she called me up when she and Matt got engaged to ask if I would shoot their wedding! They picked what seemed to be the perfect day (quite the contrast from their freezing cold engagement session!) Everything seemed to go off without a hitch and I couldn't be more happy for them!
I have to say that I absolutely loved the church that they choose to get married at. A quant, 100 year old church on the edge of an even cuter town. It was perfect! And despite the fact that the forcast called for rain, we didn't get a drop! We even got a peak of sunshine after their ceremony when we were taking photos! And Matt and Amy were absolutely beautiful! Everything added up to one of the most beautiful weddings I've gotten to photograph. A photographer's dream!
Love this ring shot!
Amy looked stunning!
Loved this shot of Matt's mom during the ceremony.
I loved finding this great smile on Matt!
Loved this shot outside of the church!
Matt, Amy and I walked just down the street from the church and found this amazing small town street I had never seen before, despite growing up not too far from it. I'd definitely go back for another photoshoot!
How awesome were their cake toppers?!
Amy and her awesome sisters!
Loved this quirky shot! Definitely one of my favorites!
Amy and Matt, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! for bringing me back to Chicago for your wedding! You guys were wonderful to work with and I can't wait for you guys to see the rest of your photos!
